For teams from Ghent and East Flanders

Team building for Ghent teams: from the Blaarmeersen to the Ardennes

Ghent is known as a creative, sporty and green city. Many Ghent companies train at the Blaarmeersen, host a team session in the Bourgoyen or hop on a summer boat trip. Fine routines — but rarely the source of the real connection you're looking for between colleagues who pass each other daily without truly talking.

Crossing Belgium lifts your team building above the Ghent norm. Four uninterrupted days of moving, choosing and overcoming together. From the coast to the Ardennes, with the Ghelamco Arena firmly in the rear-view mirror.

Why Ghent teams sign up

Four reasons that make the difference

01

Coast within 60 minutes

From Ghent Sint-Pieters you're on the coast in an hour. Logistics as simple as a day in Blankenberge.

02

For recreational athletes

Not an elite race. If you run or cycle regularly and want to train together, you'll cross the finish line.

03

Multisport, no monotony

Run, bike, water and navigation — your team constantly discovers who is strong where.

04

3+1 format

Always someone in support. Nobody blocks the team because one discipline doesn't suit.

How it works

Four days, one team, one shared story

  • Team of 4, rotation between active and support role each stage.
  • ~250 km spread over 15 stages in 4 days.
  • Guided technical challenges with gear and briefing included.
  • Overnights between stages — you focus only on the next day.

Climbing Managers experience

More than 10 years of experience in corporate adventure — from Alpine ascents to multi-continent expeditions. Crossing Belgium is the first 4-day challenge translating that know-how to Belgian soil.

Frequently asked

Frequently asked questions

Yes, the coast is 60 minutes away. The briefing starts Wednesday evening, just before the start.

Is the team building tax-deductible?+

Usually yes, as a social benefit, provided the whole team participates and it stays within annual limits. Check with your accountant.

How intensively should we train?+

Plan 8-10 weeks of dedicated team preparation with weekly joint training sessions — a team building event on its own.

Can student clubs or alumni also join?+

Yes. Ghent alumni groups and friend groups sign up alongside companies.
