For teams discovering the Ardennes

Team building Ardennes: not one day, but the finale of a 4-day expedition

The Ardennes are Belgium's adventure playground for companies. From kayaking on the Ourthe to survival in the woods around La Roche — the offer is huge. But what if your team wants to invest not one day but four in genuine cohesion?

Crossing Belgium finishes deep in the Ardennes, after a journey that begins on the coast. Rock, height and technique on the final day — everything the Ardennes are famous for, embedded in a bigger story.

Why this Ardennes team building works

Four reasons to go beyond a single kayak day

01

Four days instead of one

Depth only emerges after day 2 — when fatigue hits and the team truly leans on each other.

02

Rock and technique

Via ferrata, abseiling and trails through Ardennes forest — the final day brings it all together.

03

One continuous story

Coast → inland → Ardennes. Every day changes the landscape, the dynamic and the role distribution.

04

Full guidance

Guides on site, briefings per section and medical standby during every technical challenge.

How it works

Coast to Ardennes in four days

  • Start Wednesday evening on the Belgian coast.
  • ~15 stages over 4 days with rotating disciplines.
  • 3+1 format: three active participants, one support role rotating.
  • Finish Sunday afternoon in the Ardennes — with one final rock challenge as the icing on the cake.

Climbing Managers know the Ardennes

Climbing Managers has guided teams in the Ardennes for over ten years. For Crossing Belgium we selected the region's best rocks, valleys and trails — no touristy shortcuts.

Frequently asked

Frequently asked questions

Where in the Ardennes do you finish exactly?+

The exact finish location stays part of the surprise. Check /en/journey for the regional frame of the last day.

Is climbing experience needed for technical parts?+

No. All participants receive briefing and gear — guides watch over safety from A to Z.

What's the difference vs a survival day in the Ardennes?+

Depth. A survival day breaks routine — four days of expedition permanently reshapes the team dynamic.

What if the weather turns?+

Weather-proof gear is required (see gear list). In extreme conditions the organisation adapts the route safely.
